Ms. Ranjitha V of class VI A bagged gold medal in the Abacus competition held at Loyola College, Chennai The Vidyalaya was under inspection by Smt. Nirmala Mohanan, Education Officer, KVS RO Bangalore region on 06- 02-10 The Vidyalaya organised the CCA day for secondary and primary classes on 8th and 11th Feb 2010 respectively The Chairman and VMC members visited the Vidyalaya on 11-02-10 for the VMC meetings The farewell party for the Class12 was organised on 16-02-2010 in a befitting manner. The Vidyalaya organised the Annual Sports prize distribution ceremony on 20-02-10 The Vidyalaya Primary students participated in the Cluster level Mini Sports Meet held at KV IISc and bagged the 1st prize for Kho-Kho (boys) as well as for Kho-Kho(Girls). The Vidyalaya also bagged IInd prize in 50m and 80 m running race events and a IIIrd prize for 80m race. A One-day workshop on CCE was attended at KV NAL on 09-01-2010 by Principal and 03 teachers The Vidyalaya celebrated the Republic day celebrations in its premises on 26-01-10 The Vidyalaya students participated and were adjudged the best dance in the inter-school competition held at Railway grounds in connection with the Republic day celebrations The Vidyalaya organised a training programme on CCE for the teachers. The Vidyalaya conducted its educational tour for all classes. The Vidyalaya organised a 3 day Book fair in its permises. Master. Aashish P of Class X was awarded with the merit certificate from KVS HQ in the KVS National Maths Olympiad. The Vidyalaya was visited by Shri. D T S Rao, Assistant Commissioner KVS, RO Banglore Region in connection with analysing the Mid-session examination results of the board classes. 34 students of this Vidyalaya from VIII - XII appeared for the ZIO exam at J SS Public School The 3rd meeting of Vidyalaya Management Committee was held on 4th December 09 at the Vidyalaya. The Vidyalaya organised a training programme on peace education by brahma kumaries Academy, Malleshwaram centre for students of classes VI- VIII. A Workshop on Child Development and behaviour at NIPCD was attended by two teachers. Vidyalaya reopened on 02nd January 2010 after closing for 10days Winter break. Kum. V Keerthana of Class XI participated along with the regional team at the Golden Elephant 16th International Children Film Festival of India at Hyderabad Kum. Prashasti of Class V A secured the 1st Prize in the Indian Classical Dance held at KV CRPF, Yelahanka in connection with the Bal Diwas Celebrations. The Vidyalaya in connection with Bal Diwas Celebrations held at KV CRPF Yelahanka on 12th and 13th of November 09 won the first place in Indian Classical Dance, 2nd Prize in Group Dance and 3rd Prize in quiz competitions. Master G Bhargav, C S Mahesh Kumar, G Preetam and N S Raghav of this Vidyalaya were selected for the National Kho-Kho to represent the region and the team won the Gold medal. Kum. Priyanka, Kum. Aakansha and Kum. Varsha R of this Vidyalaya was selected for the National Kho-Kho to represent the region and the team won the Bronze medal. A workshop on NCF for teachers was held at the Vidyalaya on 7th and followed with an assessment of the NCF on 8th November 2009 27 students of this Vidyalaya from XI and XII appeared for the KVPY exam on 01-11-2009 at KV ASC centre The Vidyalaya organised along with SWRWWO an inspirational talk by Madhu Singhal, founder of Mitra Jyothi for the students of class X & XII on 06-11-2009 The Vidyalaya organised along with SWRWWO an inspirational talk by Shri. Shankar Bidri, IPS, Commissioner of Police,Bangalore for the students of class IX, XI & XII on 13-11-2009 67 students of Classes IX – XII of this Vidyalaya appeared for NSE examinations on 22-11-09 The Vidyalaya was the transit halt for the national sports meet on 13-11-09 and on 22-11-09 to 25-11-09 for onward and return journey of participants of various games. 05 selected students of this Vidyalaya appeared for the CBSE group Maths Olympiad held at Jain international School on 29-11-09 A Workshop on Child Psychology and behaviour was held on 30-11-09 at the Vidyalaya and was attended by all teachers. Visit by Shri. Ranglal Jamuda, Hon'ble Commissioner, KVS, New Delhi and Shri. D T S Rao, Asst. Commissioner, KVS RO Bangalore of the Vidyalaya on 06th November 2009. Vidyalaya was host for various cluster level Kabbadi and Kho-Kho and Regional Chess competition for Girls and Boys Panel inspection of the Vidyalaya held on 15th October 2009 by Smt. Nirmala Mohanan, Education officer, KVS Regional Office, Banglore and team of eminent Principals. Ms. Anusha of class XI was selected 1st for the Solo Song competition in the regional level Social science exhibition and would represent the region for the National level Social Science exhibition. The Vidyalaya plays hosts for the Cluster level KVS Sports Competitions for Kabbadi and Kho-Kho from 14-10-09 to 16-10-09 The Vidyalaya organised and celebrated the Grandparent's Day on 8-10-09 The Vidyalaya conducted the 2nd unit test as per the KVS Schedule. The Vidyalaya Exhibit under the sub-theme ICT was selected for the National Science Exhibition from the regional Science Exhibition conducted at KV Hebbal The Vidyalaya organised the School level Science Exhibition on 15th of September 09 and selected 06 exhibits for the regional level science exhibition to be held at KV Hebbal. The PTA meeting of classes Primary, Secondary and XI was conducted smoothly at the Vidyalaya. Aakansha of II B won 3rd prize in the All India Bharathnatyam Dance Competition held at Challisgarh conducted by Kerala Samajam. The Vidyalaya hosted the cluster level CMP meeting of all Principals, HMs, Senior PRTs on 11th of September 2009 18 students of the Vidyalaya took part in the Mathematics olympiad at KV Nal The Vidyalaya organised the teacher's day celebration on 5th Sept. The Vidyalaya was Visited by the Staff representative of P&G for education and counselling of girls of VII&VIII The Vidyalaya Celebrated the 63rd Independence Day in its Campus with great pomp and show.

05 students of class IX of the Vidyalaya won the NTSE Scholarship

Mr. Prakash Kurchugai (Art Teacher) of the Vidyalaya was awarded for his mertitorius services by the South Western Railway Women’sWelfare organization.

11 students were also awarded with prizes for the drawing & painting competition conducted by the South Western Railway Women’sWelfare organization.

At the inter school level dance competition conducted at Nritya Karangi, Ms. Aakansha U of Class II B secured  the second prize.

 02 students of Class XI, Ms V Keerthana & Ms. Jahnavi D brought laurel to the Vidyalaya by winning the first prize among 25 schools in the Inter School levl T-Shirt Painting Competiton conducted by NPS, Banasawadi

Paper-craft demonstration shows were arranged for the Vidyalaya students during the assembly.

The Vidyalaya organized the investiture ceremony for the Student council for the academic year.

Internal Audit of the Vidyalaya took place in the Vidyalaya from 07th - 9th July 09.

National level Technoltholon 2009 conducted by the IIT Guwahati was organized in Vidyalaya.

16 students of the Vidyalaya attended Tritya Sopan testing camp at KV Malleshwaram & KV No.2 Jalahalli

The National Conference on Guidance & Counselling was attended by Mr. D. B. Patnaik, PGT (BIO) at DSERT Bangalore

Five day induction course for the newly recurited PRTs was organised at the vidyalaya from 16-3-09 to 20-03-09

The course was inaugurated by Mrs. Nirmala Mohanan, Education Officer, KVS RO Bangalore

Session Ending Examination for the academic session 2008-09 was conducted smoothly as per the schedule circulated by the Regional office

08 students took part in the Debate Competition held at KV ASC Centre and the students of the Vidyalaya made it proud by bagging the maximum number of prizes.

In connection with the International Women's Day Celebration a cluster level painting competition was organized by the Vidyalaya wherein 59 participants from 12 Vidyalayas exhibited their paintings on assigned themes.
